Columbia Gas - Shut off service without notification
We were in Europe on vacation. When we came back, service was shut off.
Fine, we were late on our bill. However, they sent no mail to our door. They did not call us and leave a message. Nothing.
Then, they leave a hand-written note in our door that service has been shut off. There is ONE number to call. That is to an automated payment service. We pay the bill, then wait.
Nothing. For a full day. We have no idea when service will be turned back on. Nothing.
Complete ghetto company.
We have paid our bills for decades. Could you give us a call?f 
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
Columbia Gas Cons: Sucks.

First off what do you mean you was in Europe but didn’t pay your bills that’s the first issue secondly what good would it have done for them to call the house or send mail you wasn’t home lol think a little bit I know it’s hard but just think on it you dumb as ever lol you sound stupid

Well, they are making money, so they have money to pay off people if you decided to go to Court. So, you can sit and waiting for as long they will turned on when they want.
