Columbia gas sent notice I'm getting IGS as a supplier
I opted out of community based aggregate billing a few months ago and sent the paper back. At the same time-went on Columbia's gas suppliers site and chose my supplier, Krakos.
I received notice it was received and I was billed by Columbia with Krakos charges on it for a couple of months now. I just received a card from Columbia that as of Dec 29th, my new contract with IGS will start. I don't have a contract with IGS, I signed the Ohio no aggregate billing list and already chose my own supplier. They are giving me 4 days to contact them if I have another supplier and there may be fees.
I just went thru all this a couple months ago and now I've got to call and find out how I got in a supposed contract with IGS. I feel like there's some kind of scam going on.

Use to have $97 budget now $180 no more need said after new furnace! Rate increase after rate increase . PA is awash in natural gas !

My wife and I had our gas shut off because they had an issue with our billing address. We had to spend 7 days without heat or a stove in the winter.
We schedule the soonest available technician to come, they give us a window of arrival between 8 am and 6 pm. (WTF) Neither of us can take the entire day off so the representative says we can leave a key for them. So I do only to come home from work around 3:45/4 to discover that they had attempted service but needed us to let them in the house. When I call they wont discuss it with me because my wifes name is the one on the account even though Im an authorized user.
Whats even worse is they said the tech already went home for they day so we have to reschedule.
Why then would you tell us that the technician could arrive as late as 6 oclock if he gets off before 4??? Now its going to be below freezing and I dont know if our pipes will burst or not.

I accidentally overpaid my gas bill: amount due $48.77, amount paid $4877.00. The payment was scheduled through my bank's bill pay and was debited from my checking account 7/16/2021.
To issue a refund, Columbia Gas requested a letter on bank letterhead indicating proof of funds. My bank's letter said that the payment was made in good faith, and they were going to refund any charges I incurred from the large amount being debited from my account. Apparently, this wasn't sufficient for Columbia Gas. The fact that I've spoken to multiple representatives from Columbia Gas during the week and no one mentioned that the verbage in the letter didn't satisfy their requirement is unacceptable.
Actually, that I've had to follow-up with them after being told, repeatedly, that someone would update me with the status is also, unacceptable. So today, I had to contact my bank again and request that another letter is sent specifically stating that my check wasn't going to bounce (it cleared last Friday) and it wouldn't be stop paid is ridiculous. We have had this account with Columbia Gas for 39 years and have never bounced a check to them. I, also, indicated that we are moving out of state next Friday (7/30/2021) and I don't want this check floating around in the mail but it seems that is what is going to happen no matter how proactive I've been in trying to quickly resolve this.
Good-bye Columbia Gas, I won't miss you at all. Gas.

Bankruptcy you still own me $25,000 dollars. You are the worst ges provider. You company buys gas gas for less $2.00 / dechterm and us sicker buy it for $12.00

Your employee gave a false reading and cost me $1,800.00
My zip code is 45504. I called a few years back bc of a gas leak from one of my space heaters.
The gas man falsely stated that the leak was from my pipes in my basement.
I just had the pipes replaced by a company.
So the gas man shut my gas off until I came up with $1,800.00 to get the pipes I just had replaced to be re-replaced.
I want to report him in case he is doing this to other people.
Normally, I wouldn't have that amount of money but I had a settlement I just received from a lawsuit.
I want to report this man.
He had been to my house several times before that day.
He inappropriately bumped me and touched me before this situation of the BRAND NEW PIPES "leaking gas".
Wrong! It was the space heater.
I have a furnace now but I hope this man doesn't ruin someone else's life from his LIES.

Horrible Customer Service. Have tried for over a week to get gas turned back on after house fire.
Wasted over 5 hours.
They DO NOT call back on that option. Wish there was a better choice, especially for the cost.
"Fixed monthly delivery charge" on monthly bill just more than doubled from $16.75 to $38.62 with no warning or explanation whatsoever. So now in the warmer months May thru Sep., when I use hardly any natural gas (just enough to heat my water), my minimum bill will be $40 per month.
The "fixed charge" is a ripoff. All charges should be usage based.
Electric bill fixed charges are much more reasonable. Tried to contact state regulators and THEY DON'T CARE - state regulators are representing big biz, not consumers like they should.
